We partnered with the family management team of a building products business that wanted to separate from its current ownership, buy the company back in stages, and ultimately regain majority family ownership. During the five years of our involvement, we assisted in the company's acquisitions and in finding strong managers to continue the company's track record of growth. When Long Point sold our interest in the company, the family and Long Point Capital realized an outstanding return on investment, resulting in the family being able to increase its ownership percentage in the company.
