The majority owner of a large-format
printing company specializing in
out-of-home/outdoor advertising and
point-of-purchase displays wanted to
realize value that he had built in
his company and buy out retiring
employee shareholders. At the same
time he was ready to begin succession
planning. We accomplished the owner's
first goal by purchasing a majority
stake in the business upon our initial
investment. The owner and the
management team made a significant
reinvestment in the company. In
addition to accomplishing succession
planning at the senior level of his
management team, the owner realized
a second significant "payday" when,
four years after our initial investment,
we jointly decided to sell the company
to another buyer.
