Long Point Capital Successfully Exits Investment
Long Point Capital is pleased to announce our successful final exit from out portfolio company, Sunbury Textile Mills. From our original investment in 2002, Long Point has achieved a 48% IRR on its Sunbury investment. Long Point and other shareholders sold a majority of Sunbury to an ESOP in 2004, while retaining a junior security. Sunbury's outstanding performance over the past three years allowed the company to redeem all junior securities and permit the company to be 100% employee owned through an S-Corp. ESOP.
Sunbury Textile Mills, located in Sunbury Pennsylvania is a leading designer and manufacturer of middle to better-end Jacquard upholstery fabrics for use in residential, institutional and outdoor furniture.
