Greg Hurd is the President and Chief Executive Officer of BKF Engineers. He focuses on driving strategic growth and initiatives, managing operations, engaging staff, and ensuring quality project delivery.

With over 35 years of experience, Greg has led diverse and complex civil engineering and land surveying projects for public and private clients throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Before becoming BKF’s fifth president and CEO in the firm’s history in 2020, he led and managed BKF’s Santa Rosa office. Greg is highly active in the development of A/E/C professionals and serves on ACEC’s Business Management and Legislative Committees as well as Cal Poly’s Civil and Environmental Engineering Industry Advisory Board.

Greg received a B.S. in Civil Engineering Technology from the University of Silicon Valley formally known as Cogswell College in Cupertino CA and is a California Professional Civil Engineer, Land Surveyor and LEED® Accredited Professional by the U.S. Green Building Council.
