Artistic Holdings Opens Charlotte Office and Seeks Add-on Acquisitions

Long Point Capital’s portfolio company Artistic Holdings, Inc., North America’s largest provider of turnkey staircase and railing solutions to large and custom homebuilders, recently opened a new office in Charlotte, North Carolina through the acquisition of selected assets from Image Design Staircases, the Charlotte division of Plymarts. “We look forward to expanding our presence in the Southeast and continuing to build the Artistic platform” said J.W. Williams, President of Artistic Holdings.

Artistic is actively seeking acquisitions of businesses engaged in the sale and installation of residential building products. Through its offices in Atlanta, Calgary, Charlotte, Edmonton, Phoenix and Tucson, Artistic currently sells and installs staircase railings and custom, construction-grade curved staircases. The primary acquisition criteria are below:

  • Direct-to-builder installation model
  • Geographic focus: Southeastern U.S. and Alberta, Canada, and other geographies in North America opportunistically
  • Minimum $5mm in revenue
  • Strong management team
  • Strong cash flow

Target home-enhancement products include:

  • Stairs & railings
  • Flooring
  • Countertops
  • Bathroom fixtures
  • Cabinets
  • Doors and windows
  • Custom iron work
