From our original investment in 2002, Long Point has achieved a 48% IRR on its Sunbury investment. Long Point and other shareholders sold a majority of Sunbury to an ESOP in 2004, while retaining a junior security. Sunbury's outstanding performance over the past three years allowed the company to redeem all junior securities and permit the company to be 100% employee owned through an S-Corp. ESOP.
Sunbury Textile Mills, located in Sunbury Pennsylvania is a leading designer and manufacturer of middle to better-end Jacquard upholstery fabrics for use in residential, institutional and outdoor furniture.
