Long Point Capital is pleased to announce that its portfolio company CHA Consulting, Inc. ("CHA") has acquired Gryphon International Engineering Inc. ("Gryphon"). Headquartered in St. Catharines, Ontario, Gryphon provides a comprehensive range of design services to the thermal power and energy industries. The acquisition will bolster CHA's power and energy capabilities, particularly as they relate to thermal generation, renewable generation and district energy projects. In addition, the acquisition will expand CHA's geographic footprint internationally.
The acquisition of Gryphon is consistent with Long Point's strategy of enhancing its portfolio of design and construction related companies which includes CHA, Cumming Group, and EYP. Gryphon marks Long Point's 8th acquisition for the platform.
